Welcome to Riverway Rowing Club.
We are a club made for all ages and all fitness levels. We have a family-friendly atmosphere and welcome both novice and experienced rowers.
The club is based in Townsville, Queensland, located at the Loam Island Community Centre on Riverway Drive. Please see our About Us page for more details on the club, as well a helpful map!

Riverway Rowing wishes to acknowledge & thank the Queensland Government’s Gambling Community Benefit Fund for proudly funding the project of the purchase of a Boat Trailer for the club.
The club is now in possession of the trailer & it has been put to work immediately. This grant has now been completed.

Townsville/JCU held their annual regatta on Saturday the 6th June 2009 which was held at Aplins Weir, Townsville. The regatta was attended by clubs from Cairns, Riverway, Townsville Grammar, Cathedral School, Innisfail and St Margaret Mary's College.
Riverway Rowing club were able to secure ten first places and five second places.

On the 2/3 May 2009, the Mackay Rowing Club held their annual regatta for 2009. The regatta was run over a 1000 metre four lane course and was attended by clubs from North Queensland.
Riverway Rowing Club came away with an excellent results.
